That is fantastic! I love Polly. I remember when I had not even registered Lily - it was back last year some time. I thought there was something wrong and I remembered seeing her name on here as a recommended exotic vet. So I phoned her up. She rang me back and was on the phone to me for about 20mins !!! She was brilliant - no charge mind, and I had not even registered but it goes to show how far some will go if they really care about an animal. Good luck Nick, Marley is seeing someone who really knows their onions. I am sure its something really small, and so try not to worry too much yet. A good sign DEFO - is eating. I have been told many times on here that if they are not well, i suppose it goes for all animals - they go off their food. So perhaps doing that is a really good sign. xx Wishing you the best and make sure you let us know later! xx

Does what your tortoise have look anything like this, as its perfectly normal and something they are eating.
I had this last year and was told by a very experienced member from America it was fine and so she is I can remember the fun I had getting her mouth open for the camera

Hi everyone sorry didnt get on till now.
Polly was great she knew her stuff indeed. Marley was given a clean bill of health and Polly was impressed with how much she chomped down a dandylion whilst we were there . She suggested maybe she had eaten something that dyed her tongue . We asked so many questions and she helped with them all. Im just glad Marley is fine. thank you for your concern and input it is much appreciated. regards, Nick p.s the photo does bere some resembalance to what we saw thanks. |
