But am interested to know if this is what you meant, or do you mean something (ie colouring or pigment) has come off the leaf?? |

Hi Nick, sorry, I don't have any suggestions but I would be interested in hearing what the vet says, keep us posted and I hope it's nothing to worry about

May i wish you the best when you go..xx I should have said that before, sorry. Good luck Nick xx By the way, I am from Bristol and I recommend Highcroft Vets in whitchurch. Polly Cornwall - a recommended vet on this site, resides there and believe you me, she is excellent. A specialist in exotics. xx

lol, because some people get mixed up and think its dead nettles, ie nettles that have died, rather than a plant named the dead nettle, which is not dead but is non stinging, its never made very clear and i know sometimes people get mixed up, just wanted to rule it out |

oh i think it best you go to the vets, having blisters on the tongue, could just mean that he is a bit run down, could still be something he ate or even herpes
i would give him a long soak, try to get him to drink or give him a piece of cucumber just in case he did eat something toxic |
