dugy if you tort has a op, you should not hibernate this year

and before you even think of doing this, you must get to the bottom of this problem

how come she gave you paste and did not tube dose?

I use the paste its far less stressful for the tort then sticking a tube down its throat.
The only ones that should be tubed are the ones that wont accept the paste.Mine will accept a panacur sandwhich with no problem.

yeah i wouldnt hibernate if i didnt think they were healthy.. and to be fair i recon they are healthy apart from the plastrons which is actually affecting health (if that makes sense!?) i will however still be getting second opinions regarding health......

and i obviously would not hibernate if they had the op.. i was saying that i have to make a decision as if they are not having the op i can start my hibernation wind down....

i was not offered tube although i may have refused as i recon its very stressfull for a tort aswell as a (i beleive) drastic measure to get a torty wormed...

and the tortoises can be wormed well using the paste... i offer a little yummy fruit and as the mouth opens the paste is squirted in, they barely notice.. any dribbles on chin are mopped with a leave of some sort and fed to them after the yummy fruit... this way i can se just how much is going in.. (obviously some may be spat out altough its still rather accurate...
