Congrats Chester Zoo.

Darren you must be so proud to be part of such an amazing organisation like Chester Zoo. If only all other zoo's and animal parks would follow by example.

Chester does have a great reputation but have to admit even though we are very successful zoo in most breeding programes i'm afraid we are always beaten to it by some of the other more profesional zoos in the chelonia department ,Bristol and Edinburgh are the forE front within the uk with very successful breedng programes for kleinmans and Bristol for pancakes aswell.
Darren
PS i have too say Chester have been extremley successful this season yet again with klienmans 10 eggs laid and 9 hatched one left to go .

I Feel like i'm promoting the the zoo at times but i just think that so many zoo still have bad chelonia husbandry that i like to let people no Chester is not one of them .

Carl most zoos these days breed off show and may if the have the room exhibit surplus retired or over represented stock ,
at chester they have good results but all there tortoises are off show except the radiateds and galapagos

Lisa yes very proud to be part of Chester zoo and show the success they have on here.

Darren
