Stunning Dan is it true that egyptians only have 1 egg at a time.

Thanks Carl, Jeff, Pete, Darren and Sarah .
I have Jeff and most have been males No problem Pete and Jeff, they'll be tons of updates Most of the time Sarah a one egg clutch is the norm. I have though had up to 4 in a clutch and 2 egg clutches aren't all that uncommon. Dan

She's lovely Dan. A real credit to you. Will she start eating stright away? Will she live on her own for a while or will she be housed with older torts?

Hey Dan!
Another beauty! How many more ya' got waiting in the incubator? You say that your hatchlings tend to be males? Is it the temperatures while developing? Can you temp sex egyptians like boxies? Just wondering. Olivia |

Thanks Louise, Kelly and Olivia
Louise I've had them start to eat the same day I took them out of the incubator. The most was about 3 weeks later. Most start to eat within a week. She'll go in with the hatchling that just hatched. Olivia no I just have had the bad luck of keeping back males . I've found that they aren't temperature sex dependant. I get usually a 50/50 mix. Dan
