African Pygmy Hedgehogs
Just wondering if anyone keeps these? I am planning to buy one from a breeder (after much thought!) and am looking for as much info as I can. Any advice on best cage set up, food, whether they're better kept alone / with another much appreciated.
Thanks SeeShell |

They do make great pets - I love mine to bits.
They are better kept on their own. I have sent you a pm with a few details about mine. |

I have mine in the largest zoozone available and keep him on fleece liners.
I feed him on a selection of good quality cat biscuits, some live food (meal worms and wax worms mainly) and cooked mince (lamb, chicken, beef, tripe etc) He has a thousand toys his main ones being his wheels, you need the chinchilla sized wheels and he runs away on it for hours over night. He also has a nylon puppy pen that he spends over an hour in every night. They do need handling every night, at first to tame them and then to keep them friendly. I love my hog
