I had two combined bulbs for my 6x4ft table plus a freestanding ordinary bright light bulb, the light in the room was also on when it was a dull day, one thing though don't position the table in the window unless the room doesn't get the sun in summer. I made that mistake and on a hot day the table got far to hot, it was easier to have it the other side of the room and heat it.

Thanks all, went and got a strip light & controller (controller allows for 2 lights) but have only used 1 for now as temporary setup.
Even with 1 it appears to have encouraged Tom from under his log (where he's been since he went into his new home yesterday), although i think it was just curiousity as to why there was bright light while he's trying to sleep! |
