If he stuck his head out while fine warm showering then he obviously liked it, if he didn't he would retract his head I would think lol, some of mine don't like misting but some do and will face towards it, if one of mine is dug down and hiding for a day and night I don't disturb, but if they were down for a few days I would wake them up like you have been doing. And see merlons torts do exactly the same lol, and that's horsfields for ya lol x
