Thoughts?
Hi all,
Following on from advice yesterday on poor old toms house being a wee bit on the small side, I've been doing a fair bit of thinking! I had originally been leaning towards a 2 storey rabbit hutch but think i may have found a near perfectly sized base for a new home! Current thoughts are purchasing 2 of these: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/3650976.htm And then get a few bits of wood from B&Q to make a 2 storey living area for the chappy! I'm guessing that this will be quite a good living area size for him once constructed. |

looks like it doesn't have a base on it? If you have space then it otherwise sounds good. An enclosure that is longer but narrower normally fits better in peoples homes though?
If you are good at DIY why not try making one yourself? |

I know what a screwdriver looks like but trying to remove some elements of diy! the lack of base is a good spot although a conti board from B&Q would solve that clanger!
I am toying with the idea of building him something, time is not often on my side though |

I used one of those for an outside area when I just had one tortoise they are pretty good for that but they are no use for indoors as the base is plastic sheeting.

I use these depending on the size of the tortoise The sides are really high so the tortoise cant climb out. Just re-inforce the back and its perfect
They come in different colours too http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/6095772.htm http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/6092067.htm
