Default Outdoor enclosure - first attempt!

Hi all,

I was just wondering what people think of my outdoor enclosure that I have been working on for Mabel. I am very new to tortoise keeping and I know it isn't the best out there, but is there anything people think isn't right or could be improved? The plants are hebe, thyme, lavender and petunia.

Looks good to me:0)
I would say even more plants would be better, as there will be more shelter from the sun.

It looks lovely. Does it have a cover to keep cats, birds, etc. away?

Brilliant! I'm sure Mabel will love it. All we need now is some sunshine!

It looks great, the only thing I would change is maybe the mesh window in the den, I would block it off, it looks low and some tortes think they can walk straight through mesh and get confused when they cannot, I found that out a long time ago with my own other than that as long as the lovely waves on the side or high enough I think its pretty fantastic. Jus watch and see how it goes, if it does try to walk through block it off, if not then great.

Well done

Thanks Daryn for the tip. At the moment she is still tiny so is nowhere near tall enough to see through the mesh, but I will certainly look into this when she is.
