Outdoor enclosure - first attempt!
Hi all,
I was just wondering what people think of my outdoor enclosure that I have been working on for Mabel. I am very new to tortoise keeping and I know it isn't the best out there, but is there anything people think isn't right or could be improved? The plants are hebe, thyme, lavender and petunia. |

I would say even more plants would be better, as there will be more shelter from the sun.

It looks lovely. Does it have a cover to keep cats, birds, etc. away?

Brilliant! I'm sure Mabel will love it. All we need now is some sunshine!

It looks great, the only thing I would change is maybe the mesh window in the den, I would block it off, it looks low and some tortes think they can walk straight through mesh and get confused when they cannot, I found that out a long time ago with my own other than that as long as the lovely waves on the side or high enough I think its pretty fantastic. Jus watch and see how it goes, if it does try to walk through block it off, if not then great.
Well done |
