Outdoor enclosure plants/weeds
Hi all,
I'm looking to improve my tortoise's outdoor enclosure. I'd like to have an area of plants/edible weeds. Can anyone recommend some good plants/flowers to plant? I already have some weed seeds which I've been growing in a pot. |

I use the shelled warriors seed mixes - they can tend to get eaten as soon as they appear so I do sow some directly into the enclosure but also put some in seed trays that you can sink into the dirt of the enclosure once a bit more established, if you plant a new lot every few weeks then you will have some to put in. For other plants I use carex grass as it provides good shelter also have sedum (be careful what type you get as not all are safe) nasturtium and a few livingstone daisies all of which have only had the odd nibble out so far!!
