The petunias have temporarily been moved until I get one of the hanging basket things. Yet again Mabel tipped backwards trying to eat leaves she couldn't reach. There are rocks around but she didn't seem to attempt flipping back over...so I'm worried she'll just lie there and get dehydrated.

Some torts do tend to freeze up sometimes I'm sure she would try once she gets over the shock. A lot of my petunias got eaten this year by the bugs. Really annoying. Another sunny day ! CB

Very nice, I really liked the idea from CherryBrandy with the upside down hanging basket.
I think I will use this when I set mine up in the greenhouse.

I spent ages yesterday looking for one of my boy Horsfields in his enclosure in the rain which isn't unusual as they dig down (chicken wire underneath).
I had to give up as it was stair rods. Today I just noticed his little dirty drenched face popping out from underneath all the earth and upside down basket. I had even checked this too to the bottom - never underestimate a Horsfields ability to dig to Australia. CB

QUOTE : And upside down hanging basket first time this year bit late in the season and photograph taken today. Good fun for them too and would be great to let the weeds take hold next year. CB
