Default How much should she eat a day?

Hello everyone.

I was just wondering how much food I should give, my 1 year old, horsfield a day. She would eat as much as I put down for her and am a bit worried that I am either feeding her too much or not enough.

On a morning she gets a flower from a pansy or petunia plant and half a slice of cucumber to ensure that she gets enough water to keep her hydrated. Then at tea time she gets a dandelion or other type of weed. All of her meals are sprinkled with Nutrabol and limestone powder to ensure she gets enough calcium. She also has a piece of cuttlefish for extra calcium throughout the day.

Any advice will be very much appreciated, Joanne xx

Weight gain is a better guide to how much you feed a tortoise. If they put on about 3-4 grms
a month, then you are doing well.
