What substrate to use?
I have had my family complaining recently about the smell of the torts. I do believe its the food (pellets) that the problem, but would changing to soil help this or make it worse. I currently use grass pellets and want to change anyway.
thanks Bradley |

Also maybe change what you are feeding the torts? Try weeds or florette lettuce mix to improve the diet? good luck |

Top soil is your best bet.

Maybe you could try feeding a meal and then removing the leftovers. I know some pellet makers say the tortoise should have constant access to the pellets but I'm not convinced by that.
