Default bulbs - help please.

I've just bought an arcadia 160w d3 bulb for my tort table.

Can someone please recommend a stand / holder please? I'm not sure what to use.

Always follow the min/max height restrictions. And always point in vertically downwards, never at an angle...
You probably know all that anyway, Carys but just thought I would mention, in case you didn't. xx

The medium holder is not big enough for the 160w bulb as it only takes 150w. you need the large size http://www.surreypetsupplies.co.uk/e...arge-25cm.html

that zoo plus price is shocking at £25 for medium as the large one is only £16 at SP

Surrey Pet Supplies are always the cheapest for everything, I find.

My local pet shop sells the UV strip I want for £25, and at SPS it's £16. Definitely beats my local, and I don't have to sit on a bus for 20 minutes!

See what you mean about the price difference. Although the medium holder is heat resistant to 200 watt aswell. I've just checked on the box.

I have the medium and large and they both say the same thing.

But like you I would recommend the larger one as the bulb in the medium one sticks out a bit
