Quick question about a turtle
Hi, i've had these turtles for about a year and... everytime i clean the water in like 1 week it get's dirty...
So i was wondering can i have a tank with just rocks? Like no water.. just rocks and other things that you reccomend... so please can you help me out? thanks. |

Hi, I think you need to elaborate on the type of turtle you have or post a picture so that a turtle expert can ID what species you have before recomending anything.
I don't keep turtles myself but we have a few people here that do and will certainly help you. I will move the post to the turtle section where you will get noticed more than here as its in the wrong section. Ade

totaly depends on the type of turtles mate but most need water.
If they are aquatics then youll either have to put up with it or get a better filter ( this is all part of turtle keeping they are high maintaince)

i dont know if would help for turtles or evan if you can you it in water for them but when i use to keep fish i used a bottle of stuff called filter aid it was brill keep water crystal clear not sure if you could use this one but their might be something simlar for turtles

its much better to just keep on top of water changes rather than adding any chemicals to the turtles water , with the right filteration there shouldnt be a problem

thanks for that i have never keep turtles but wasnt sure if they live in same water condition so thanks for putting me straight didnt know if i was helping or not

there are circumstances when you need to use chemicals but this just sounds like a filteration problem to me
