Sorry for the text speak but OMG.... how awful for you and your little pal. I would not be sleeping for weeks I'm afraid. I can't stand rats, even though we had pet ones they were ok but not wild ones. I see you have degus, would the rat have realised you had them and be looking for food??? I have a chinchilla so also worry about the mice from under the floors coming back up now he has moved in. But no sign of them and neither my jack russel or stupid cat have been showing signs of mice being around. I hope the anti-Bs work and he gets better quickly.

ive a very sad question to ask my turt has not ate or been swimming since she was injured and she sleeps all day and dues not move much ive had her back to the vets and they have said it will be kinder to put her to sleep but they want £75 to do it but i don't have the money is there a way i can put her to sleep without distress or suffering

Hi Nikki,
I wouldn't recommend you doing it yourself, just in case you make it suffer unintentionally. Normally vets will allow you to make two payments why don't you ask? Sorry to hear this xxx |

i did ask if i could pay in instalments but they said no. ive phoned round my local vets and they are all asking for full payment at the time

Nikki, I know this is a really tough one because of the money but it really isn't humane any other way and I dont believe you are legally allowed to take matters into your own hands.
Can you not loan the money from somewhere?? |

i will keep trying to feed her till i get my dole next if there's no improvement with her ill take her to the vets as i don't think i could do it myself thinking about it
