Nutrobal normally smells horrible once it goes off.

could be why your tortoise is off their food, they have an excellent sense of smell. They could be telling you something!

I bought Nutrabol for my Leo's food and he is the same. If I put it on he won't touch it, if i then put some in without any on he will.....little bugger !! I have found that I have to put the smallest amount on, I usually put it on a spoon and blow the dust and it sprinkles over the food quite evenly and thin. Watch out Gordon Ramsey
Also, on the smell front, the stuff I bought, about 1 month ago doens't smell too good either, but it can't be off already surely??? |

Nutrobal tends to last a long time if sealed back up correctly, i know when i used it ,it had massive tube off it and the date wud last a good 2 years. altho i don't use it anymore as for lizards it's terriable, i use boneaid now but from these posts Nutrobal seems the best for torts.

What are your temperatures? Do you drop the temps at night?
Is it a WC tortoise? Quote:
