I personally think that this tortoise needs to see a vet as forcing her mouth open if she has mouth rot could cause her a lot of damage and pain. I believe that Vitamin A deficiency is very rare if your tortoise has had a good diet previously.

Pammy - good luck with all this.

I cannot offer any advice but I am thinking of you and your tort and hope you will keep us updated, as many of us are still learning.

Hi burnt toast I took her to vets yesterday he gave her a shot of multie vitamins and put a tube down into her belly to give her drink of reptiboost he wasn't to bad has I said was dreading goin to him I had the lecture about not keeping them in a viv etc but she opend her eyes a little last night so looks like she guna be ok Thankyou x
