Default need advice

my mums tortoise outside got into by a fox she had 4 tortoise 2 have gone missing, one is fine the other tortoise is bleeding from a a bit of shell that has come alway, my mum is alway at the moment, so not sure what to do.

Do you have a picture. I would take the injured tortoise to a vets.

no would have to go back round my mums again to do that, all i can tell you is the side of the tortoise shell has come of, and the bit above his head on the shell is bleeding.

Could you not bring the tortoise back to your house? I think you should clean the wound up and put the torotises somewhere safe to make sure this doen't happen again. Lets see what someone more experienced thinks.

sorry to hear this sad news

i really think you need to get back round to your moms

and check on this injured snail pics would help you get the best advice from here

can you phone mom and ask her opinion


also you need to check how the fox got in otherwise the fox could be back tonight !

these 2 torts are depending on you at the moment

at the moment they are both in the indoors enclosure at my mums, she is alway and i cant get in touch with her she is on a cruise.

I think I would be tempted to bring them home to keep a close eye on them. I do think that you should see a vet especially if it is bleeding.

Sorry to here thatregarding the missing tortoises have you looked for holes in your mums garden? they might be in the next doors garden.

I would get the injured tortoise to your house asap and ring a vets ASAP do you know of a vets you can ring? if not maybe we could point you the direction of one.

Is the tortoise bleeding alot? Have you tried to stop it?

Make sure you remove any animals from the garden as a fox will always return - they are b*-@*'"s like that!
