Default leos eye

leos eyes are always shut for ages in the morning, he opens them very gradually and is often squinty.
When i put him in the bath he always rubs his eyes too.
Ive heard that discharge from the nose can cause the eyes to stick but i cant see any signs of rns.
all ive been told is to put on cod liver oil, should i put it on neat as it comes in the chemist for ppl?

I use the codliver oil capsules, making a pin hole in them. Then just putting a drop in when
needed.
What substrate are you using, this could be the problem?

meadow hay for 1/2 then 1/4 is a sand soil mix and the other quarter is a mix of wood chips and rocks.

Remind me what speices you keep Carl.
As if the sand content is high, and very dry it could be that irritating the eye.

Sorry yes leopards are sensitive torts. I would try the codliver oil. I am not a lot of help
here as I dont keep leopards. So dont have first hand experience, only what I have learned
from Lisa.
He/she could have got a poke in the eye from the hay.

leos eye is always stuck in a morning then with water it opens and it usually has a white thing on it that rubs off about half the size of his eye, he has this most mornings is it like dry tears that we have, could he be producing too much?
