hermanns book
Just finished reading Naturalistic keeping and Breeding of Hermann's Tortoises, very interesting read, answered a lot of questions including many that have been up for discussion on here.
If you keep hermanns I would say this is a very good read. Andy |

I got it for Christmas and have really enjoyed reading it, as you've said it answers a lot of questions . But then I was told not to believe everything you read, it's not a scientific paper, just observation. But I think observation over many years must have some weight behind it. So my vote is yes it's a very interesting book. LIKE

Ooh, what's it called please? I'd like to read it. Can I get it on amazon?
While I agree, you can't believe everything you read, how much about what we know is scientific? When we bring something into captivity, how do we learn the science? Observation of natural environment and trial and error.
