Baytril
Hi, Shelbly my Ibera, had RNS, when I got him, thats over 2years ago, after a course of Baytril, he was fine.
He was grand yesterday, but when I got home today, I noticed a bubble or two, he is eating and active, his normal self. I was thinking his substrate was a bit dry. Does a bubble always have to be treated or should I give him a day or two to see how it goes?

Hi Beverley
I'd up the overnight temps for a couple of days and keep an eye on him. If it gets worse, or you still see wetness I'd take him for a check up. Maybe make an appointment for Friday, you can always cancel it if it clears up |

I know Clare, the wee sod, lol, he seems grand today, I kept him really warm overnight but will keep an eye on him. If the worst comes to the worst then I will ring Michael and get him to send me some Baytril.
Thanks Clare

They really worry the life out of you Bamboo had a bubble the other day and I've watched him like a hawk, but he has been fine, due to his head diving off his log hut I reckon he just had a noseful of soil and sneezed Glad to hear he is well wee rascal

I think you may have something there Beverley. One of mine keeps getting a respiritory infection. Hannah took some swabs & has sent them off to the lab, one has come back clear & the other were still waiting on but im convinced it occurs when her soil is dry & cant seem to stop it becoming dry!
I would monitor him & keep him warm - & keep watering! |
