As long as the tortoise has good weight I'd suggest that you pay no attention to the rate of growth.
Thanks ed, Norris is putting on weight every month and he seems to be an ok weight so I'm happy

I recently got a new baby redfoot who's eating and pooping well I'm going to monitor his weight and as long as he eats poops and gainsweight I'm happy
