Top Table + Hermann's
Today as you know i built a top table and took on 2 young hermann's. Here are the pictures!
The two new little ones! Same ones My Older Hermann's Better Picture of them in the new table Table pic And to finish with another picture of the new ones! As you can see i still have yet to put the trays with sand/soil in and the plants.. ran out of time as had a party type thing to attend..So that will be done tommorow! Any feedback postive/negative is welcome. To add the other side of the table has a hide with a cover and there food and water trays. Need to keep a close eye on the temps between both sides Adam Last edited by AdamSoS; 01-02-2009 at 12:31 AM. |

Thanks both. Do you think the Heat Lamp and UV is in the correct postion? The table is 4ft by 2ft set on 82 at the one end but just wondering if it will get too cool down the other? :S

Looks ok to me.If the cool end gets too cold (+22,+23 should be ok)-I suppose you can just move the heat lamp more in the middle if possible.

i wouldnt move the light in the middle of the table there has to be a temperatre gradience, what are the temperatures under basking and what are the temps in the cool end.
Your basking spot and your UV should ideally be in the same place is there any reason why ur using a red light Red lights dont really serve any purpose so i would remove it and replace it with a white spot bulb

If that's the case then at 4ft long, it would most likely be too cool at the other end too unless the heating of the room is very warm. My tables are 3ft and were too cool at the far end to start with until I got it right. Very nice well made table |
