Frozen fruit?
I have 2 redfoots and I was just wondering if I was to buy a large variety of fruit for them then cut it up and put it in portions would if be ok to freeze some of it then defrost it before feeding it to them. It may seem like a bit of an odd question but I thought thus might be a way of getting more variety into their diet without having to throw fruit away especially as some of their favourite fruits are quite expensive at this time of year.

Yep you can freeze fruit.
I used to buy the big bags of mixed frozen fruit as a treat for my hermanns and leopard. |

I have recently done this for my two(soon to be four). It has papaya, lichees, mango, apricot, a little banana, strawberries, raspberries, blacberries, blueberries, peach, pear and apple.

I've just finished making little pots of mango, papaya, Sharon fruit, strawberry, blueberry, pear, apple, kiwi, blackberries, and a tiny bit of banana. I can't wait to see them having a good old munch on it!

They had fresh today and gobbled it up as per usual, they also had their first try of rocket which they seemed to absolutely love, they even ate it before the fruit!
