Default Pyramiding

My 18month star is showing very slight signs of pyramiding and i want to know if i am doing anything wrong or if anyone has any suggestions to prevent it.

Diet - weeds, grass, mixed leaves komodo flower and fruit pellets
Basking temp - 35 degrees directly below lamp
Cold end - 28 degrees
Baths - 30 min soak every other day. Sprayed daily also has water available she can sit in and drink.
Lighting - lamp for basking spot plus Exo terra 5uvb uv light

Jim

Stars are far from easy to grow smooth, a humid hide might help.

My two are growing different one smooth one slightly bumpy I thought that maybe I was going to end up with one with the point like bits on its shell and one not great description I know but don't know what they are called when it does that?

Depends who you ask, I don't think they should although most do. It seems they are more prone to pyramid than other torts.

They do look really nice with the points but hopefully people don't make them grow that way deliberately. when I looked up about them it seemed to be saying that was the normal shell shape for Stars to be. Suppose it could just be the way they are being kept in captivity or does it happen in the wild as well
