Hi Julia
Im sooo pleased you got your tort back, I was sad to read it was taken. I too can vouch for the male urine trick, cant remember full details now but we were being visited by a fox/s quite a few years ago now & were told that tip & it did seem to do the trick.

Tut tut. Women don't have the"facilities" to aim like men, we might look a bit odd chasing a fox with our under-crackers round our ankles.

Red face

I have left the older tortoise outside, and the same thing happend again, partly because he is so stobborn and won't sleep in his hut for some reason: One moring last week I found him upside down again, and pretty traumatised, I think.
I have locked him into his hut now, but left a wooden tortoise out in the garden, and guess what....that one was also upside down in a different part of the garden. So it is pretty clear to me that it must be foxes playing with it like a ball.
I need to come up with a solution for next year.
