Default hermann or horsefield

hi guys

as the title suggests i am trying to decide between these 2 species of tort, i live in rainy (all the time) northern ireland so was wondering if the more hardy Hermann would be a better choice for me? as I want to be able to let him roam free in his own enclosure outside in the summer.

many thanks

Horsfields dont do well in damp cold climates, if that helps.
Why not iberas, they fare as good as hermans in the UK.
Or marginata, as I know at least two keepers who have these in Northern or Ireland.

We chose hermanns over horsfields - wanted to be able to see them as much as poss. rather than waiting for them to reappear from their excavations Had them for nearly 18mths now and very pleased with our choice
