Smile Overshot jaw

I have just got a horsefield who has a very overshot bottom jaw. Has anyone else got a tortoise with this problem?. I have seen this one eat and I'm not too worried, I was just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this issue?.

I have an adult female ibera that has an over shot jaw, and it causes her no problems at all. She eats like a horse

Hi Lizzy

I have a horsfield with an overshot jaw too! I never actually noticed until I got a second tortoise and realised how much prettier she looked!! Charlie is of course still a very handsome chap, in his own unique way!! I've had no problems with him and he eats absolutely fine. His jaw juts out a bit more than it did when I first got him, so he may well need a trim in the summer, but I have no worries about him!
