New John Lewis Advert
Saw this last night and made me chuckle.
It reminded me and my OH of one of his daughters!!! Who had all day yesterday tripped over the same step 5 times in about half an hour. We were laughing with her at her clumsiness when this came on!!! http://whatmatters.johnlewis-insuran..._Base_20150821

that's brilliant advertising isn't it - good songtrack to prance around too. I love the look on the little boys face. classic for all brothers everywhere - my bro still does it ! CB

It really reminds me of when my daughter was little. She had a tutu and ballet slippers but would never have lasted at ballet classes because her kind of ballet involved a mixture of gymnastics and breakdancing!!! There was no way she was going to be the delicate, disciplined, positioned little ballerina! Her hair would never have stayed in a bun for a start!
Her two older brothers always used to look on her with disgust although saying that, I do have video footage of our eldest dancing with her after Strictly was fairly new. He's trying to lift her and do certain routines. He LOATHES that footage now. One to be saved for his wedding day!!! We have some great video clips for a special montage on his wedding day. I'm pretty sure that my second eldest son will be best man and we're already plotting. My eldest just needs to find the right girl and we'll be wickedly putting things together for years no doubt!! John Lewis always have the most creative adverts and yet something that always manages to strike a chord with the general public. Thanks for sharing that Row, I haven't seen it on the TV yet. I'm already looking forward to their Christmas one.

Bet you didn't do the splits though Gordon !
We only had cine camera when I was younger and have many a lovely memory being dragged round by my hair by my brother when it wasn't rolling and butter wouldn't melt when it was.....that advert brings back memories .....the flicker of cine film....CB
