Timmy and Bertie yesterday, wife took them out to play in a trough she has planted with only plants/weeds that the tortoise table website says they are allowed/allowed in moderation.

Fun in the sun! Somehow the tiny tortoises are always the most cute.

They are so lovely. I'm probably stating the obvious but I presume your wife was keeping a close eye on them? The seagulls round here can't be trusted and I have known magpies and other large birds to take an interest in tortoises.
I love looking back at photos of mine when they were tiny. It's like having kids - you don't see them grow as you're with them everyday but then suddenly they've gotten so big!

Did they enjoy nibbling at any of the weeds your wife had planted for them?

Hi,

Yeah she was with them, the sides on the trough are not that high anyway, so need to make sure they don't climb off the side, as it's a long way down for tiny tort!

The trough is mainly for display and to have something with only "allowed" plants/weeds in. We'll get something more suitable (covered) for them to play in outside on warmer days soon.

I think Timmy liked having a nibble, but from what I'm told Bertie sent most his time under cover/digging down!

I'm sure they loved their adventure outside.
It's great having a trough specifically for their weeds.
