Hermie's First Escape Attempt
This is the first attempt Hermie has made to escape from her indoor enclosure. I'm amazed on how dexterous she is at climbing.

I made the mistake of putting a nice young spider plant in the corner of Lilys table a few years ago. When my mum went into my house (whilst I was at work), she popped in to see Lily only to find he was no where to be found. She found him wandering behind the table. He had climbed on the spider plant then lifted himself up on to the roof of his built in hide and belly flopped down the other side (a good 10 inch drop). I had all my lighting stuff like my strip starter and tower plug behind there. I was in shock at the time Certainly learnt from that little stunt..! Cue music of: Mission Impossible lol xx |

I doubt that the top of the stem would support her weight, but just in case I moved the plant as soon as I took her off it

I had the same problem with an aloe plant... Mish still tries to climb it sometimes but he is too big for it to hold his weight now hehe!
