Default weed ID Please



Any ideas? i've searched a few websites TTT and gardening websites cant find it but it grows in good amounts round here so would like to know if we can feed it or not, the flowers are normally quite thin like the one attached there purpley pink there is one in my fingers thats a bit more open but it hasnt shown up very well. Thanks all.

It's willow herb which I think is feed in moderation because it can be high in tannins

It is the smaller Willow Herb, tortoises don't eat it.

There's at the very least, 13 different willowherbs but there may be hundreds more. They aren't toxic but they grow in my torts' outdoor enclosure and they have never eaten them, I have to pull them up regularly. I wouldn't feed willowherb to a tortoise kept indoors because of the fact they won't eat it by choice outdoors. When you feed stuff to torts kept indoors they will sometimes eat it because they have no choice

Izzis not like that she can be a right fussy bugger at times so were always on the hunt for new stuff to try with her. But fair one ill give this a miss.

We have had lots of photos of this recently and I'm sure it's broad leaved willowherb. This plant must be having a bumper year - maybe it loves the rain!

Searching the name on google images it definately is willow herb, it might be worth a try one time but ill avoid it for now. We have plenty of herb robert too but she wont touch the stuff!
