Another unbelievable preloved ad

Just came across an add on preloved,they want to swap a horsefield and gecko (housed together) for a bouncing castle!!!
Thought i might give it a go....Will swap hermanns tortoise for deep fat fryer (mine broke last night) any offers???

Yeah,it's disgraceful...i was looking at all the ads on there and theres an awful lot of 1-3 yr old torts for sale...it shows that people soon get bored,i mean if you only want a pet for a few yrs,then buy a bloody hamster!!!

I was just thinking that too when I looked at the preloved adds this evening Inca. It really is sad. Those poor tortoises getting shifted about from person to person because people get fed up of them or the kids find them boring.... Arghhhhhh...... makes me angry. There will always be genuine reasons why people cannot keep their torts but, as you say, there a large number of young ones who were obviously bought without thought or research. Very sad

Ditto above - why do they all seem so attracted to preloved?
Ive seen some terrible sights on there.
