Default Names

Need a bit of help guys if possible.
Ive just got 2 horsfield hatchlings, ill post pictures soon. Only around the 20gish mark each, ones a very light colour the other is very dark. Ive spent the last 3 days glued to the internet searching every site i can looking for names with a meaning.
I call the smaller dark one, littel one right now so have been trying to find a nice unisex name that means that but come up with nothing other than some unpronouncable sounding names, and i dont fancy shouting ogfrid round the garden for the rest of my life, lol.
I like the name cookie for the light coloured tort but the only meaning it has is a biscuit. So right now my heads spinning with what to call them and i thought maybe you guys could help me out please.

yeah i did that with my other torts but now theyre grown up some of the names i picked dont really suit them lol. Ive decided to call these youngsters something that has a meaning like beautiful one or sunshine. Just something nice like that.
Thats if i can find any names that make sense, no luck so far

I can certainly sympathise with you. I had the same problem naming my hatchling. I searched for Greek names, Greek mythology, and Greek translations for things like gift as she was a birthday present. (she? is a TGI) I eventually settled on Cameo Kismet. Cameo came to me because my DD said "that's not a tortoise, it's costume jewelery" and a cameo brooch is around the same size as her and it is carved from shell. Kismet is because it was fate that I found her.

While searching I also liked Kyria Not spelt like that in Greek but pronounced like that) which is Greek for lady (I'm hoping it's a girl) and Doro which means gift.

I quite like "Chiquita": the little one (Spanish) if wanting an exotic sounding name, or maybe something simple like Tini? (As in Tiny).

I love the names Bramble, Blossom and Thistle =D
What about Titch or Tiny for the little one?
I like sunshine =D or maybe Sunny?
I'm sure you'll decide on perfect names for them, good luck and keep us informed? x

ah thanks for your help guys i like alot of those names, ill certainly put them on my list.
Thanks.
The reason i like stewie so much from family guy is because i have a little male tort that even though he`s small has the character of stewie so much, he`s so cheeky but gorgeous aswell
I`ll have to sort out some pictures of them all to put on here, i`m just waiting for the new youngsters to settle in properly first before they have to put up with their mum following them round with the camera, the others are used to it though lol.

just another quick question for anyone who sees this but just wodering if everyone has the same problem as me regards non tort people. Ive posted up about my new hatchlings onto facebook, i was proudly announcing the new additions but ive found only a handful of my friends actually responded and where not in the slightest bit interested, in fact two of them when i offered to send over oictures said no thanks and one even laughed and said i was crazy and a sad woman.
These are my friends
is it just me or do other people experience a similar reaction.??
Ive had my other torts for along time but never really mentioned them before as i dont want them put on show to people who arent interested but im quite shocked by my friends reactions to my new hatchlings, i at least have thought theyd of liked to know something about them.
