Newbie Here
Hi,
I have been lurking for a few days and thought i'd better introduce myself. I don't have a tortoise yet but that is soon to change! I'd love a Leopard, Sucalta (sp) a star or a spur thigh...Oh who am i kidding i don't really care what it is. i am reading up at the moment... before i try and make an informed decision! I had a tortoise (well i had three) when i was 7. Two died in hibernation over the years but the last one "shelly" was stolen from me ten years ago when i moved house. It was winter, she was in a box on the back of the van. Some people grabbed the boxes when we stopped outside the new place to unload. She was never recovered I had her 23 years she was given to me after i had found her wandering the streets dragging a hammer. She had had a hole drilled in her shell and a piece of string put thru it and tied to the hammer. She also had her address painted on her shell. (took 10 years to get it all off) after returning her to her owners for the third time they said....Just keep it. So I did I have outdoor and indoor accomadation ready for a tortoise.... I also have 6 Bunnies, Two dogs, two lizards and two parrots. |
