Smile weather in west of scotland

The weather here has been fab for the past few days with the promise of more to come. So much sun that I have been locking the tortoises out of their coldframes. What's going on? Poor conditions down south but ideal here? At 9 a.m. the sun is blazing down and the temp is already in the teens.

I just had to post since I normally complain so much about it here.

Lucky you!
I'm the person that lives in East Anglia right under that big rain cloud on the weather map.
Feels like winter here. Our torties are wondering where the sun went?
I expect it will cheer up soon.......

Sounds lovely, Jonathan. We had a glorious weekend but it's cloudy here now, though still warm. Enjoy the sun!!

Been chucking it down here for the past few days, my poor torts haven't been able to go outside even with the new lid for their enclosure, it's just not warm enough.

I have put the heat back on in my GH, and the tortoises then come out to graze once they are warm enough. I am in Kent:0)

Sun's out here this afternoon and it's lovely and hot!! Such a difference to the overcast morning we had.

It was freezing in Hampshire this morning and finally the sun came out this afternoon. I had to put the heat on this am but about 3pm torts went out, after having snuggled down for the past few days. Good news is should be Ok for the next few days.

My weeds are very prolific, but all my vegetables other than potatoes are on a go slow. I don't think there will be tomatoes at this rate.

I do hope your good weather continues up in Scotland.
