Fab weather today and the same promised for tomorrow!

Then we get a week of heavy rain showers interrupted with bursts of sunshine.

Yes CB that's the forecast on the west side. The nice high pressure that has kept us dry is getting pushed out by waves of low pressure starting on Saturday.

I managed to leave work early today and soaked up 2 hours of warm sunshine in the garden. It might be a very long time before we see 20C and sunshine again here. Like next spring!

I like the words 'potential for some rapidly deepening depressions'....they should ask all tort owners after the summer we have had ! CB

well that was a nice day. Not just a bad hair day but sodden, miserable and grey with no hint of tortoise anywhere.

it is 5 o'clock and I need a torch to check the torts !. We've had the wettest August since 1910, I think we are heading for wettest September too. lets make it a hat trick for October maybe ! I don't mind the rain, the cold a little with clear blue skies, even the wind, its the grey I don't like. who invented grey. cb
