They wanted £300 for tortoise and viv... Saying the tortoise is free but no viv is that expensive.. She even told me it cost £150 new so up to her what she sells it for but she isn't going any lower and I am refusing to by for more than £150

Hi Roberta, only just come in on this thread but you would really be safer buying from a reputable breeder or someone on here. wouldn't say they look brilliant, rather bumpy and back legs splayed out rather than holding the body up. You could be buying a load of trouble. Have you tried the Slowcoach site?

I agree you would be better to buy from a breeder on here, I have a couple from people on here and they are lovely, the rest of mine came from pet shops 2 I bought because the pet shop had them for a few months and could not shift them I felt sorry for them and did not think the care they were getting was great so managed to get a really good deal for them. If you are going to buy one like that they should not expect top prices for them they should just be happy they are going to good homes.

I got a 4 year old horsfield from the tortoise lady a few come up in the for sale section has a look in there once you decide what you would like.

I want either a marginated or hermann as i hear hermanns are bigger than horsefield and have more of a personality and like to interact with humans more? Gut also like the marginated as they are bigger but then i have heard that they just lay there and don't do much?
