diet essentials
due to get our tort at the weekend and just looking for some tips on what some of your torts have enjoyed, as well as getting most of their nutrients.
Got a pretty good list of what they can have, and have bought some pellets for it to eat. Also i know they can eat the flowers of clover.. can they eat the actual clovers too? HELP! thanks |

Mine love rose petals now and again, pansies, honeysuckle (all flowers only) and they eat the clover as well as the clover flowers.
Favourite weeds include plantain, vetch, dandelion and nipplewort. I'm sure you'll soon find out which are your torts favourite.

Plantain, Sow Thistle, Nipplewort, Jack by the hedge, Pertunia, Snapdragon, Mimulus and Campanula's. And some . Feeding pellet's, i offer at 1-2% of pellet's to the weight of tort, once or twice a week pre soaked in a little water. Another commercial food is Pre Alpin herb cob's, dried plant's, this is also pre soaked and added to weed's/plant's on a weekly feed.
