Default Wild Tort

Here's a pic of a Tortoise my cousin (she lives in Crete) found near the beach. I'm pleased to stay she released him/her back where she found it.

Would that be an Ibera? Lovely tort. If it's an Ibera it must be a female judging by the size.

Has she lost the end of her front right leg or is it the camera angle?

I thought perhaps her front claws are just worn away. She looks lovely and muscular and her skin is so light compared to my iberas.

May she live a long happy life full of freedom.

It does look like a T.g.ibera and a female. It's probably an escaped pet as I don't think T.g.ibera are native to the island.
