Default Bonsai tree query

I've have a bonsai within my table. In its own dish etc for decoration. Didn't think of this but if the leaves fall in the where the tortiose's can get them, is it safe if they eat fallen leaves??

Bonsai is an s bend elm

i have some bonsai (chinese elm) around the garden/greenhouse,i would think at this time of year it would be too warm for them on a tort table,does it get sufficient light also.you may do well with it and surprise me but a cool bright window sill would be my choice.
try some chillies,mine are doing well on tort table.

The tortiose table I have them in is quite big. It's not near a window. I'm just worried incase a leaf falls into their pen and they eat it.

Not sure Elm is good big or small for torts, but it does say on this hyperlink no evidence its not....but isn't a glowing report like most. Hope that helps
