Default Skyride London

Is anyone else going to the cycle ride on sunday through London, its called Skyride and has a good website, the route goes along the embankment, the mall, round past the palace and can include St Pauls. The route is closed to cars from 10-4 and its free to go, anyone who can ride a bike can take part, join where you like leave when you want. There are events on and it should be a good day (weather permitting) we park in Canada Water shopping center carpark which isn't far from the Thames footpath and Tower Bridge and is free the route's turnaround is just the other side of the bridge. Have a look a the website.

did anone else go? we did and had a really great day, I've never seen so many bikes and it was lovely to see all the children, some even still on stablizer bikes and all got round. We'll definatley do it again, free parking in Canada water shopping center and with a packed lunch it never cost us a thing, even got a free goodie bag and florescant tabard, the weather was good and it was almost like being part of the london marathon, cycled past trafalger square and St Pauls mind you I didn't see 'her indoors' at the palace window (thought she might have given us a wave)
