a few more plants bought today
So, the weather was so nice today that I got a few more plants to add to my backyard.
I also got a nice planter to set for my littles THH's as their outdoor space (will do a thread on this also on the housing section) Mallow trees Mallow trees and lavatera and mimulus campanulas and hollyhocks

I'm planning on hitting the garden centre again soon too.
Looks like you've bought them some nice treats and good size plants too.

If that is a tree Mallow, they grow pretty big. Mine is about 6ft tall grown from seed. You might need a bigger pot or plant it in the ground. The good thing is they last a long time, mine has been through 2 winters and I was picking leaves all the time.

hya, it was advertised in the garden centre indeed as tree mallows
when/if they start growing high I'll repot them

i've put them for now in 35-40L pots.. should be enough for 1-2 seasons I hope

So am I right in thinking there are two separate things: Lavateria & Mallow trees? & is the mallow also known as "marsh mallow"? I have 3 Lavateria's so if so need to get one of the others.

The mallow trees I bought today I think it's an hybridisation. I'll post some pics of the stamp in a few minutes
