I think little Gem is not really much good either Have you tried Kale they can have it in moderation it's a bit tougher to eat for them. Have a look on the shelled warriors shop they have loads of stuff that would be good, they sell limestone I think.

Get your vet to show you what to do and buy some nail clippers, ones like for toe nails or suitable for dogs. You will only have to clip the beak once a year. You will need some help to hold his head out, so you can cut without him pulling his head in. Put a piece of slate or paving slab in his pen and always put the food on it.

Ground limestone will be no good...you need stones, how i wish i could send you some, limestone is all over the place here

I believe that the tearing of weeds and stalks help keep the beak down.
