are those chew blocks any good?

just ordered grass, cucumber & dandellion flavour pellets and a small aloe vera plant, im planning a big change to his table aswell when i get time, need to find some limestone

gonna have a look at some cacti too, is there a particular species any one's tort particulally like? and do you just make it aveilable planted
Not sure pellets will help his beak problem, they are soft and don't need chewing. Ideally something he has to break off to eat would be better. Whole leaves that he has to break up to eat.

I think little Gem is not really much good either Have you tried Kale they can have it in moderation it's a bit tougher to eat for them. Have a look on the shelled warriors shop they have loads of stuff that would be good, they sell limestone I think.

Get your vet to show you what to do and buy some nail clippers, ones like for toe nails or suitable for dogs. You will only have to clip the beak once a year. You will need some help to hold his head out, so you can cut without him pulling his head in. Put a piece of slate or paving slab in his pen and always put the food on it.

I believe that the tearing of weeds and stalks help keep the beak down.
