12 EGGS TODAY HELP PLEASE
Hi everyone my 40 yr plus female ibera layed 12 eggs today after a very busy week digging and paceing up and down . she normally layes between 3 to 13 eggs every year , last year she didnt lay at all . i got a poly box and a heat mat and temp gage . every year the eggs do not hatch . i keep temp right and keep a bowl of water in incubater . they are not turned after laying and are not touched once put in vermiculite. any tipps from any one also do you think she is too old . she lives with my male ibera called bonker. the name says it all. do you think he is fireing blanks or that she is too old . ps my two rescue torts max and minty are doing well . worms have gone . i think after many vet visits , thankyou julia

Hi Julia,
It sounds like your eggs haven't been fertile. Have you posted pictures of your pair before? They may not be a match and that could be why your eggs aren't fertile. If you haven't you can post pictures of the 2 of them in the ID section. If they are a matched pair we can go on from there to figure out what happening. Danny
