Hi I got my baby last week..hermanns and iv been feeding her a variety of weeds...but when i weighed her today she has lost 6 grams...is that normal???!!!

for the first couple of days after having her she didn't eat anything cause of settling in etc could that be why?

torts weight can vary

depending upon when we weigh them

depending upon the scales used

before or after passing feaces / a poo
before or after passing urine / wee
before or after eating
before / after worming
before / during/ after egg laying

once you have kept a diary of weights for a few months

im sure you will see a trend

and yes whilst settling in torts weight can also vary

i was just worried as she doesnt weigh very much so 6 grams seemed alot lol!! she is eating and drinking more now though bit of a picky eater i think!!
