Sainfroin no problem, Summer Mix seeds no problem but do you think i can get the Plantain seeds to germinate Now i do not think im much of a gardner but i would of thought i should be able to grow weeds!!!

I've grown slender plantain well. It seems to grow quickly the second year, with plenty of seed heads.
The greater plantain is much slower to grow and I didn't see any results the first year but it's now doing well.
Keep persevering and you'll get there.

Make sure that you use second hand soil and not nice fresh compost as weeds will always grow better in it. good luck

I sprinkled plantain, clover and mixed seeds into Sams enclosure and they have grown brilliantly. I didn't even cover them. that part of his enclosure is not new the dirt in that area has been there for years so maybe that's the difference.

Yes you will probably find that it will grow next year instead so don't get throwing it away. Let us know what happens.ta

I've had the same problem. Everything grew except the plantain. I set seed in both the garden, just scattered and raked in and also in trays in compost but not a one germinated. Perhaps the autumn rains will kick start them ( that's a joke by the way----as we've had no rain for over a year!! )
