HES HERE!!!!........sorry men
started 18th may about 6pm
not painfull but every 7 mins i plodded along and did what needed doing 10pm every 5 mins still bearable 11pm jon went to bed after setting up stuff for delivery 11.19pm every 3-4 mins and painful i left jon in bed 11.23 and huge contrax hit me and i could hardly breath 11.25, 11.27 and every 2 mins until i decided to call for jon at 11.50pm by this time the pressure was bad and i yelled at him to call hospital to get midwife out 12.10am i had to get on all fours as the pressure was severe jon called hospital again and said i needed to push and my waters had not gone and they allways needed to be broke they said to carry on and do what i felt was right 12.15 jon goes outside to see if theres any sign of midwife and i get the worst urge ever to push so i yell for him to get back in me on all fours trying my hardest not to push and telling jon i want to give up 3 pushes later ethan slid out in his water bag 12.20am (riley stood in doorway peeking) lovely and pink and screaming (bag broke on its own) midwife was greeted by a baby screaming..walked in to see placenta drop out (yuk) he weighs 5lb 9 my smallest fed well im in agony i cannot believe i went totally unasisted with no pain meds ill post pics later |

That is fab news well done you and welcome to the world baby Ethan I have always wanted to have a home birth, I had Keara at the hospital as hubby was woried being the first incase anything went wrong! Although it was a hospitak birth it was very quick and I had no pain relief either, so if we have any mre children I would like to try a home birth, I bet its so much more relaxing

Well done and huge CONGRATS !!XXXXX I WAS so lucky i had all four of my babies at home !! and it was the most special time ON 2 of the births my husband was the midwife cos she did not get here in time !!! All four kids with no meds !!!! and so much better cos i was able to do everything that needed to be done after the baby was born !!!

Thats great news.
Just wondering- if the bag doesnt break what happens, do you have to break it yourself or does it always break anyway? I dont understand about birth etc at home, but I think it would be better for you Josh |
