Default HES HERE!!!!........sorry men

started 18th may about 6pm
not painfull but every 7 mins
i plodded along and did what needed doing
10pm every 5 mins still bearable
11pm jon went to bed after setting up stuff for delivery
11.19pm every 3-4 mins and painful
i left jon in bed
11.23 and huge contrax hit me and i could hardly breath
11.25, 11.27 and every 2 mins until i decided to call for jon at 11.50pm
by this time the pressure was bad and i yelled at him to call hospital to get midwife out
12.10am i had to get on all fours as the pressure was severe
jon called hospital again and said i needed to push and my waters had not gone and they allways needed to be broke
they said to carry on and do what i felt was right
12.15 jon goes outside to see if theres any sign of midwife and i get the worst urge ever to push so i yell for him to get back in
me on all fours trying my hardest not to push and telling jon i want to give up
3 pushes later ethan slid out in his water bag 12.20am (riley stood in doorway peeking)
lovely and pink and screaming (bag broke on its own)
midwife was greeted by a baby screaming..walked in to see placenta drop out
(yuk)
he weighs 5lb 9 my smallest
fed well
im in agony
i cannot believe i went totally unasisted with no pain meds
ill post pics later

That is fab news well done you and welcome to the world baby Ethan I have always wanted to have a home birth, I had Keara at the hospital as hubby was woried being the first incase anything went wrong! Although it was a hospitak birth it was very quick and I had no pain relief either, so if we have any mre children I would like to try a home birth, I bet its so much more relaxing

Congrates once again to you and your family, cant wait to see some pics of baby Ethan!

Thats great news.
Just wondering- if the bag doesnt break what happens, do you have to break it yourself or does it always break anyway?
I dont understand about birth etc at home, but I think it would be better for you
